Court of Personal Accountability
Privacy Policy
Last updated · MMXXVI
Culpari collects only what is necessary to issue your Certificate of Settlement and operate the Public Record. This page describes, in plain terms, what we hold and for how long.
What we collect
- Filing details: first name (and optional last initial), the structured charge you select, and your written statement.
- Email address: used solely to deliver your certificate, send a deletion confirmation if requested, and respond to direct inquiries.
- Payment details: processed by LemonSqueezy. We receive a confirmation, the order ID, and the amount. We do not receive or store card numbers.
- Standard server logs: IP address, user agent, and timestamps, retained for fourteen days for security and abuse prevention.
Writs of Accountability
If you send a Writ of Accountability, we additionally collect the other party's name and email address solely to deliver the Writ and allow them to respond or settle. These details are used only for that purpose and are never published in the Public Record. Writ recipient data is retained only as long as needed to deliver and document the Writ, and may be deleted on request.
What we never collect or publish
- Phone numbers, full addresses, or government identifiers (filtered at submission and rejected).
- Payment card numbers — processed entirely by our payment processor; we receive only a confirmation, order ID, and amount.
- Email addresses, contact details, or identifying information of third parties in the Public Record.
- Tracking pixels or advertising data. There is no advertising on this site.
What appears in the Public Record
Only the filer's first name (plus optional last initial), the structured charge, the statement, the reparation tier, the verdict (if you purchased one), and the serial number. No email, address, IP, or payment data is ever published. Filings remain hidden from the Public Record until reviewed; entries flagged during review never appear publicly.
Retention
- Paid filings: retained indefinitely as the certificate is the product. You can request removal at any time (see below) — we will scrub the public-facing record within seven days.
- Unpaid filings: deleted automatically within twenty-four hours.
- Email address: retained alongside the filing for deletion-request handling. You may ask us to redact your email from our records once the certificate has been delivered.
Your rights
You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by replying to the certificate email or writing to privacy@culpari.com. If you reside in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA — including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We rely on these vendors to operate the service. Each is a well-known operator with their own published privacy policy:

- LemonSqueezy — payments (Ireland / United States)
- Resend — transactional email (United States)
- Anthropic — verdict text generation, when purchased (United States)

Changes
We will post material changes to this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. We will not retroactively widen what we collect from existing filings.
